Difficulties
With vampires, most difficulties are in the book. However, the GM may adjust difficulties based on circumstances or what you are trying to do.
Extended Rolls
When making extended rolls the successes accumulate. An extended roll is when your character is doing it over several turns. (In parts). You keep rolling until you succeed. If you botch one roll the entire thing is considered a botch as you have messed up a particular part. If you fail you continue at +1 difficulty for each failure. If the difficulty goes to 11 you simply fail. Your character will have no idea they have failed one part of the roll.
Failures
In some situations, the GM may allow you to roll again for failed tasks at an increased difficulty.
Willpower
You can spend willpower for 1 automatic success, however if your total successes are at -1 then it is still a botch. You can spend this on almost any roll.
You can not spend 1 willpower for an automatic success on willpower rolls as you are allready using it.
Botches
Botches are when your total successes come to -1 or lower (-1, -2, -3 etc).
On all rolls a 1 cancells out the highest success first.
